Muckleshoot Casino First in Nation to Launch Playport™ Digital Real-Money Gaming System
Platform digitally connects players to real-money, Class II instant win and progressive games.
Auburn, Wash. and Overland Park, Kan. (Jul. 23, 2018) Playport Gaming Systems (“PGS”), a digital, instant-win game technology company, and Muckleshoot Casino, the largest gaming facility in the Pacific Northwest, will partner to launch Playport’s first U.S. installation of its Class II digital gaming system.
Through its patented Playport gaming technology, PGS will provide Muckleshoot Casino with a digital, real-money wagering and marketing platform that will allow the selling of custom-designed, bingo-style Class II instant win and progressive games. The system will integrate seamlessly with existing point-of-sale and loyalty programs.
“With a commitment to always providing best-in-class guest experiences, Muckleshoot Casino has a strong history of embracing new, cutting-edge technology and is one of the gaming industry’s most forward-looking organizations,” said Frank Rash, Chief Operating Officer, Playport Gaming Systems. “Playport is currently available in retail locations across Mexico and we are privileged to have Muckleshoot Casino as our first U.S. gaming installation.”
Playport will provide Muckleshoot Casino guests with an exciting new way to play, allowing online access to a vast, frequently refreshed library of games. Players will buy games and collect winnings on-site but will be able to play on their mobile device wherever, whenever they want.
“Being first to the market is relatively easy, but consistently being first to the market with innovative technology that makes it all about the guest is where we set ourselves apart,” said Conrad Granito, General Manager, Muckleshoot Casino. “Thanks to Playport, we’re able to not only offer another game-changing way for guests to have fun, we now give them the ease of having Muckleshoot Casino in their pocket at all times.”
“National studies show tribal casino customers are 200% more likely to buy games at retail stores than any other product sold at retail,” said Jim Nulph, Vice President Product Management & Sales, Playport Gaming Systems. “Playport will support the sale of hundreds of game themes and play styles that are new to the Muckleshoot Casino floor yet already familiar to guests.”
The Muckleshoot Casino-branded Playport experience will debut this fall.
